A man has been sentenced after stealing a woman’s mobile phone while on a train.
Graham Smith was given a two-year community order and a two-year mental health treatment requirement after admitting the theft, which took place during the early hours of July 26, 2013, after he boarded a train heading to Peterborough at Stevenage Railway Station.
The 41-year-old of St Ann’s Fort, Kings Lynn, was also ordered to pay £400 compensation to the victim during the sentencing at West Norfolk Magistrates’ Court.
