A MAN was remanded in custody yesterday (Tuesday) following an alleged assault which left a woman in a critical condition in hospital.
Dale Teer appeared at Cambridge Crown Court charged with grievous bodily harm after an incident at Stevenage Bus Station in the town centre at around 7pm on Friday, June 14.
The 35-year-old, of Winifred Road, Bedford, will remain in custody while a date for a plea and case management hearing is set.
A 29-year-old woman was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage with a fractured skull following the alleged assault and was in a critical but stable condition. She has since returned home.
