A man is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a pub in Stevenage.
Police are still standing guard outside The Willows pub following a fight in the pub’s car park last night.
A man in his 40s is in hospital with a serious head injury. His condition has been described as critical but stable.
A 29-year-old man from Stevenage was arrested on suspicion of causing GBH and is currently in police custody.
Anyone with any information has been asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 0916.
