A MAN has been hospitalised with serious head injuries after an assault in Letchworth GC last night (Tuesday).
Police are now investigating the incident, which took place in Norton Way South close to the bowling green at around 7pm.
A police spokesman said: “A cordon has been put in place and as this is an ongoing investigation it would be inappropriate to comment any further at this time.”
The man was conveyed to Lister Hospital where he is being treated.
