A man from London has been arrested for affray following a fight in Stevenage Old Town.

Police are appealing for witnesses today after an altercation which broke out on the High Street between 2.30am and 2.45am on Sunday, August 9.

The fight is believed to have taken place shortly after another incident outside of bar and restaurant, Cinnabar, where a man received facial injuries.

A 30-year-old man has been bailed until Thursday, October 1.

Investigating officer Det Con Graeme Anness said: “Although we have arrested a man following the incident in Stevenage I am appealing to anyone who may have further information to come forward.

“Quite a few people were out that evening and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have any information at all which could help our investigation.”
