Man flown to hospital in critical condition as another man is detained by police after Codicote incident

A man in his 20s is currently being flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge in a critical condition after emergency services were called to Codicote High Street.

Ambulances services were called at about 3pm and sent a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance, East Anglian Air Ambulance and ambulance officer to the scene.

The High Street is currently closed at the junction with Heath Lane and officers are working to establish exactly what happened.

One person has been detained by police.
