A 72-year-old man died after being struck by a car in Stevenage yesterday (Thursday) morning.
Leslie Spicer, of Pankhurst Crescent, Stevenage, collided with the vehicle in Six Hills Way at the junction with Marlborough Road.
Paramedics said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police closed Six Hills Way between the junctions with Chells Way and Valley Way while they carried out an investigation into the tragedy.
