A MAN has died after a five car pile-up on the A1(M) yesterday morning (Tuesday).
The 42-year-old from Stevenage died today (Wednesday) of serious head injuries at the Royal London Hospital after he was airlifted there following the rush hour smash.
It happened southbound on the motorway between junctions five, at WGC, and four, for the Oldings Roundabout.
No one else was hurt in the collision.
