A man was hospitalised earlier today (Tuesday) after he was crushed by a forklift truck.
Ambulance crews from Stevenage and the Hertfordshire air ambulance were scrambled to a farm near St Ippolyts shortly after 9am after reports of an industrial accident.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson, who attended the incident, said: "We believe a man who was in his sixties, was working in a garage when he was crushed between a forklift and a roller door. He was rapidly assessed by paramedics and a doctor from the helicopter before being conveyed to the Lister hospital in Stevenage by land ambulance.
