An elderly man believed to be in his 80s collapsed in Hitchin this afternoon.
The OAP dropped to the ground outside Next on Bancroft at around 1.15pm.
Paramedics from an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle treated him at the scene.
He was then taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
The man is believed to be conscious and breathing.
