A man wanted by police who featured on the BBC Crimewatch programme last week has been charged with attempted murder, rape and enforced imprisonment.
Daryl ‘Reel’ Brothers, previously of Sittingbourne in Kent, who has connections to Stevenage and Hitchin, was arrested on Monday following a serious assault on a woman at an address in Hitchin on January 9.
Following questioning, the 28-year-old was charged and appeared at Hatfield Remand Court today (Wednesday) where he was remanded in custody.
