A 25-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving after a car chase through Letchworth yesterday afternoon.
At about 2.30pm, officers tried to stop a black Volkswagen Passat that had been reportedly driven dangerously in Icknield Way.
The car came to a stop in Webb Close, on the Jackmans estate. Shortly afterwards, a man was arrested.
Police searched the car and inside found a flick knife, which was seized.
Joseph Thomas, 25, of Wanlip Road in east London, has been charged with failing to stop, dangerous driving and driving without insurance. He is set to appear before Stevenage magistrates on October 18.
