A man has been charged with assault after a stabbing in Hitchin.
Lee Thomas, 41, of Walsworth Road in Hitchin, was charged with grevious bodily harm last night (Monday) following a stabbing in the road at about 4.45pm on Sunday.
A man, also in his 40s, was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for treatment on a stab wound to his arm.
Mr Thomas has been remanded in custody to appear at Hatfield Remand Court today.
