Police helicopter search after Baldock assault

A police helicopter has been searcing above Baldock and Letchworth following reports of an assault this morning.

A man was reportedly seen kicking a woman at 9.51am in Great North Road, Baldock, and ran from the scene when witnesses came to her aid.

The police search included the National Police Air Service, however the man has not been located.

He is described as white, in his late 30s, with short dark hair, and was wearing a black Puma full tracksuit with stripes on the arms and the hood up.
