A 31-year-old man has been arrested in Stevenage on suspicion of fraud – just hours after a wanted appeal was issued by police.
Officers arrested the man at an address in the town yesterday evening, after receiving calls from members of the public relating to appeal launched at lunchtime.
The man, who was arrested in connection with a fraud offence dating back to 2014, remains in police custody at this time.
A police spokeswoman said PC Dave Vince would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
