A MAN charged with attempted murder after a 36-year-old was stabbed several times in a Stevenage street has pleaded guilty to wounding with intent.
Paul Wakefield, 34, of Fetlock Close in Bedford, made the plea at Luton Crown Court on Thursday.
The stabbing happened in Wansbeck Close in Stevenage at about 8.30pm on Saturday, September 5.
Wakefield is due to be sentenced on March 22.
