A man appeared in court yesterday (Monday) following an alleged double stabbing in Stevenage.
Gary Rolfe, 38, of no fixed address, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court charged with wounding with intent and grievous bodily harm.
He was arrested following an incident on King George V PLaying Fields in which two men were believed to have been stabbed with a knife. Both victims were hospitalised but neither received life-threatening injuries.
Rolfe was remanded in custody to reappear at Cambridge Crown Court on August 25 when he will enter a plea.
