Man airlifted to hospital after being knocked down in Stevenage

A man believed to be in his 50s was airlifted to hospital after being knocked down in Shephall Way, Stevenage, yesterday afternoon (Sunday). The accident happened close to the Hyde shops at 5.12pm when the man was struck by a car. The Essex Air Ambulance

A man believed to be in his 50s was airlifted to hospital after being knocked down in Shephall Way, Stevenage, yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

The accident happened close to the Hyde shops at 5.12pm when the man was struck by a car.

The Essex Air Ambulance was called and landed on Shephall Way and the victim was taken to Queens Hospital, Romford, for treatment for a head injury.
