A man has appeared in court accused of breaking into Stevenage Football Club.
Brett Vroome, of High Croft in Stevenage, appeared via video link at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with entering the Lamex Stadium on October 7 and stealing an unknown quantity of cash.
The 36-year-old pleaded not guilty to the offence and has been remanded in custody until he is due to reappear at the court for trial on December 3.
