A young man suffered broken bones in a reported assault at Letchworth railway station yesterday.
Police and ambulance crews attended the scene following the incident at about 5.30pm. A cordon remained outside the station for some hours afterwards.
A 25-year-old man was taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage for treatment, but has now been discharged.
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said his injuries were not life-threatening.
