Police and the highways agency were called to a major road in Stevenage after a van collided with a bus stop.
The call came into police at 2.04pm this afternoon (Thursday) reporting that a vehicle had hit the Norton Green Road bus shelter.
Gunnels Wood Road with the junction with Six Hills Way has been closed and there is slow moving traffic while the services deal with the damage and glass in the area.
It is unclear if the road has been reopened at this time.
