THE largest free festival in North Herts takes place this weekend.
Thousands of people are expected at this year’s Walsworth Family Festival in Hitchin on Sunday when the line-up will include Egyptian dancers, magic and ferrets.
Also on show will be martial arts, talented dogs, marching bands, Punch and Judy, classic cars, drummers and jazz and folk musicians on the festival site on Walsworth Common. And there will be art, flowers, choirs and cream teas in nearby St Faiths Church.
The event, which enables charities and clubs to publicise themselves, begins at 11am until 4pm.
