BUILDERS who found this little kitten in a skip immediately named him Lucky.

The affectionate bundle was found as builders filled a large skip during work on the new Liquid Envy nightclub on Stevenage Leisure Park.

After hearing a squealing and meowing builders waded into the rubble and found Lucky hungry and dirty.

"We don't know how long he had been in the skip but he was almost certainly thrown in. The skip is too big for him to have jumped in," said club deputy manager Chris Kirk, who is looking after Lucky at his home in Morecambe Close, Stevenage.

"He was very hungry and is a very affectionate cat but hopefully a Comet reader will offer him a good home."
