A WOMAN escaped with minor injuries on Saturday after her car overturned on a busy road.
The crash happened at 8.45 in the morning when a red Vauxhall Cavalier flipped on to its side on the B656 Hitchin Road near the Royal Oak pub.
Police and the fire service attended, and the car, which had ended up half on the road and half on the verge, was towed away by a recovery team.
No other vehicle was involved and the road was clear by 10.20am.
