Lucas Akins is back in training following seven weeks on the sideline.
The winger, who has not featured for Stevenage since the opening day of the season, has taken part in warm ups this week as he works his way back from ankle surgery.
In other injury news, Darius Charles’ status for Saturday’s trip to MK Dons is still up in the air.
Stevenage boss Graham Westley said the club will “leave it late” to make a firm decision on whether he is ready to kit up but admitted the defender/striker is “very close” to being back in the side.
The same cannot be said for Ben Chorley. The defender spent the entire pre-season and the opening games of the campaign in the treatment room with a groin strain and soreness in his thigh.
