A LORRY jammed under a bridge this lunchtime causing a van to go into the back of it and blocking the road.
The lorry became lodged under the railway bridge on Cambridge Road in Hitchin shortly after 12.30pm causing traffic to back up.
A recovery vehicle was called to move the lorry and a bridge inspector gave the all clear shortly before 2pm.
