The custom-built hotel – which offers five spacious suites for your feline friends – in Field Lane, is surrounded by wildlife and even has resident chickens to keep guests company.

Vicky said: “We are so excited to be able to offer the very best, loving care to our feline guests and have already received an amazing response from many cat owners about our stunning new hotel.

“Our beautifully appointed state of the art accommodation allows our guests the space to relax and climb and exercise in their private temperature controlled suites.

“We offer an authentic home from home experience where every guest enjoys the highest level of expert care and attention.”

Vicky was inspired by her own experience of struggling to find home-from-home care for her own purrfect pets and began researching how to set up her own cattery, then spoke to a friend whose cat had recently stayed at a Longcroft hotel.

“We officially welcomed our first guests earlier this month and can’t wait to show cat lovers around at our opening day. The response we have already received has been so overwhelming and we already have bookings as far ahead as Christmas.”

Vicky’s aim is to take the stress away from having to leave a pet behind when going on holiday or doing decorating work at home, to ensure owners know their cat is being well looked after while they are away.

The Letchworth branch is the latest hotel to open within the Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Group. The chain was the vision of Abi Purser, who opened and still runs the very first hotel in 2010 in response to poor standard of cat accommodation and care offered across the UK.

Vicky and the team will are inviting guests to join them at the grand opening this Sunday from 2pm to 4pm for prosecco, cupcakes and a tour of the new hotel.

Councillor Alan Millard will also be joining them and the first 50 guests will receive a feline goody bag.
