STOTFOLD’S Victoria Pendleton will be back in the velodrome today in her campaign to win a second gold at these Olympic games.
Comet country’s golden girl, whose victory last week has resulted in a Stotfold postbox being painted gold in her honour, will face Belarusian Olga Panarina in the quarter finals this afternoon.
Royal Mail have painted the postbox in Hitchin Road – near the bowls club – to mark Pendleton’s achievements.
They are changing the colour of postboxes from red to gold in each winner’s home town.
