A man has been charged after a puppy was stolen from a home in Hitchin last month.
Bella, a seven-month-old pug puppy belonging to a 12-year-old girl, was taken from a house in Mattocke Road on October 22. She was recovered eight days later in the Symonds Green area of Stevenage.
Lee Davis, 27, of Elms Close in Little Wymondley, has been charged with theft and is scheduled to appear at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on December 30.
