LAMBS being born this spring have found conditions a little chilly this year.
But help is at hand as some of those lambs, born at Church Farm, Ardeley, have been given little plastic coats to protect them from the cold.
Emma Massie, from the farm, said: “Although it has been cold we have been lucky and not lost any lambs.”
According to North Herts met observer Richard Barker, it has been the coldest March since his records began.
He said: “I would think this is the coldest since 1892. It has been truly exceptional.”
