Stevenage Liberal Democrats found much interest from voters in the Town Centre on Saturday morning when they set up their stall to publicise key policies. Julia Davies, the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, spoke to many voters who have lost faith in the other two main parties and who wanted to hear her views on the budget, MPs and expenses and what the party would do to help the environment.
'We were pleased to have an opportunity to talk to Saturday shoppers about the forthcoming general election. We were surprised there were no other political parties about as we understood they had previously booked space with the council.'
