Young and old alike set sail for adventure in Letchworth on Friday morning – as junior pirates danced, sang shanties and even found buried treasure.

Imajica Theatre Company brought their free outdoor Raggle Taggle Pirates show to Letchworth Corner Sports Club in Whitethorn Lane, alongside the Active Letchworth partnership and the Letchworth and Baldock children’s centres.

The interactive show with costumes, arts and crafts saw the children join Cap’n McStinky and her crew on their search for pirate booty.

This was Imajica’s second family theatre day during the summer, after their faerie-themed offering at the beginning of the holidays.

Artistic director Sam Hough told the Comet: “We just love bringing our shows out into the community, and it’s really magical seeing the happiness our shows create.”
