A woman has been given a two-year suspended sentence for setting fire to a house.

Amanda Prentice was handed the sentence, suspended for two years, on August 21 following a fire at a house in Maddles, Letchworth, during the early hours of March 31.

The 35-year-old, of Newells Road in Letchworth, was also given a supervision order for two years during the hearing at Cambridge Crown Court.
