A Letchworth teenager charged with attempted murder, attempted GBH with intent and two counts of possession of a bladed article has appeared in St Albans Crown Court this afternoon.

The case comes after a 15-year-old was allegedly stabbed in Jackmans Place, Letchworth in June.

The 14-year-old – who cannot be named for legal reasons – pleaded not guilty to all four charges.

A trial, expected to last seven days, has been set for October 15, also St Albans Crown Court.
