An 18-year-old man from Letchworth has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a man was found unconscious on a Baldock street.
The teenager has been released on bail following an assault on a man – in his 30s and from Stotfold – which left him unconscious on the pavement of Whitehorse Street after sustaining serious head injuries at about 1.35am on Saturday.
He is currently in hospital in a stable condition.
