The Letchworth GC store in the Ethel Austin clothing chain is among 129 that will close it was announced today by the administrator MCR.
The company went into administration earlier this week when MCR said it was shutting the company's head office and distribution depot in Liverpool. Together with the stores closing it will mean the loss of 1,200 jobs.
Ten jobs will be lost by the closure of the Letchworth GC store in Eastcheap but MCR said the shop is now in the process of closing down with final dates for their closure due to be announced shortly.
