Letchworth stab victim in stable condition following surgery

A 15-year-old boy who was the victim of a stabbing in Letchworth on Friday is said to be recovering after surgery.

The teenager suffered a laceration to his neck and was taken to hospital, where he has remained since the incident.

Police have confirmed today that he is now in a stable condition following surgery.

A 14-year-old boy from Letchworth was charged with attempted murder yesterday and is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on July 13.
