A SERGEANT from Comet country will play her part in tomorrow’s Royal Wedding (Friday) as she helps line the route.

Karen Edwards, from Letchworth GC, has been selected to be part of the team of path liners at Westminster Abbey after serving Tornado Gun Bay at RAF Lossiemouth in Moray, Scotland.

The 34-year-old will join more than 1000 other military personnel and military musicians along the route from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace.

Karen, who was awarded a MBE in the New Year’s Honours List, said: “I am honoured to have been chosen to represent RAF Lossiemouth at the Royal Wedding.

“I’m sure it’s going to be a fantastic experience and something that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”
