Letchworth town centre welcomed its first ever Vintage Festival over the weekend.
Saturday and Sunday brought a variety of entertaining events to celebrate the roaring ’20s, the rocking ’50s and everything in between.
The retro-themed weekend included live music, a vintage and retro-style fashion show and a display of classic cars.
While car enthusiasts enjoyed the vintage vehicles, hair and makeup fanatics had the chance to get some top tips at the retro hair and makeup sessions.
There were free dance lessons with JiveSwing in Leys Square, accompanied by live music from The Jive Aces.
Festivalgoers didn’t allow anything to rain on their parade – as the heavens opened, the dancing was moved to within The Arcade.
Welcoming young and old, the weekend had plenty in store for the children as well – including a fun fair, a free kids’ show, a train ride through the streets and plenty of food and drink stalls to suit all tastes.
