A violent thug from Letchworth has been jailed after he admitted repeatedly assaulting a woman during a month-long campaign of abuse.
Danny Braybrooks, of Allden, was jailed for 23 months at St Albans Crown Court this afternoon after pleading guilty to six counts of assault and one of criminal damage.
Recorder Patrick Fields heard that the offences had taken place in the town during May and June this year.
Braybrooks, 27, admitted five counts of assault against the woman, as well as damaging a chest of drawers and table belonging to her.
He also pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in Letchworth on June 3.
This series of offences came after Braybrooks was jailed in January for a similar “sustained vicious attack” on another woman, also in Letchworth.
On that occasion he admitted headbutting, kicking and stamping on the victim, who was an ex-girlfriend – and received a 24-week jail term.

Braybrooks initially denied this latest set of charges before pleading guilty at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on July 17.
He also admitted breaching a suspended sentence order imposed in October last year for offences of burglary and dangerous driving, committed in July 2016.
