A Letchworth Post Office worker has admitted stealing £19,000 from her place of work – and is set for a crown court sentencing next month.
Stevenage magistrates heard on Wednesday that Sarah Bendon, of Whitehicks, had stolen a total of £19,009.42 between November 1, 2015, and September 30, 2016.
The 48-year-old pleaded guilty to theft from an employer.
Chairman of the bench Vanessa Ganney committed the case to Cambridge Crown Court for sentencing on April 20.
