A PHOTOGRAPHY competition is hotting up - just in time for a change of weather.
Picture This will see winning images taken by amateur photographs feature in a Letchworth GC 2013 calendar which captures landmarks and scenery in the town.
Run by Letchworth Garden City Tourist Information Centre and backed by the Comet, the contest is open until Tuesday, August 14, with entrants able to submit up to three images. Following judging next month, winners will also receive a canvas of their photo.
Heather McLaughlin, manager at the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation-owned information centre, said: “With brighter weather on the horizon, it’s the perfect chance to get that last minute winning photo of Letchworth. There’s plenty of great opportunities around the town for that special photo, including the Lions Funday on Broadway Gardens this Saturday.”
