Works by Schumann, Poulenc and Rubbra will feature in the next recital at Howgills, South View, starting at 7.45pm on Wednesday, November 8. Thomas Barber on oboe is a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra and has also appeared at many music festivals in Britain, Spain, Canada and Switzerland. James Southall on piano held the Phillips Organ Scholarship while studying music at Cambridge before going on to study piano accompaniment at the Royal College of Music.
