A 55-YEAR-OLD man has been jailed for three years after sexually assaulting a woman.
Donald Ferguson, of Eldefield, Letchworth GC, was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to the offence at Cambridge Crown Court.
He admitted the offence the day before his trial was due to start on July 29.
He appeared before the same court on August 30 to be sentenced.
The judge also imposed a six-year sexual offences prevention order banning Ferguson from being in unsupervised contact with any person aged under 16 and ordered him to sign the sex offenders’ register.
