Letchworth man jailed after assaulting police officers and damaging Stevenage cell

A 30-year-old man has been jailed for 20 weeks for assaulting three police officers.

Shane Harrison, of Jarden in Letchworth, was sentenced at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and taken to Stevenage Police Station on July 31.

He also damaged a police cell while in custody.
