A MAN charged with stealing from a church is wanted by police after failing to appear in court.
Michael Gauge, of Glebe Road, Letchworth GC, was due to appear at Hertfordshire Magistrates’ Court on Monday after being charged with burglary at Norton Methodist Church in the town.
A warrant for the 31-year-old has been issued with police “actively looking” for him.
The church was broken into at 4.45am on August 12 with a laptop and two projectors stolen.
