A 61-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault after an alleged incident in a Letchworth street.
The allegation is that a woman aged in her 40s was walking along Pixmore Way at about 2pm on Thursday when a man grabbed her before kissing her hand and cheek.
John Seabrook, of Campers Avenue, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and breaching a sexual offences prevention order – and pleaded not guilty when he appeared at Hatfield Remand Court today.
He has been remanded in custody and is next set to appear at St Albans Crown Court on March 9.
