A 21-year-old man from Letchworth has been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary which took place in Baldock earlier this month.

Jasper Thomson, who is of no fixed abode, appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Friday after being arrested in relation to a burglary which took place at about 9am on July 14, when a quantity of cash was stolen from a property in The Tene.

Thomson – who has been remanded in custody – was arrested by officers from North Herts Operation Scorpion team, who target burglars, robbers and those involved in drug and vehicle related crime.
