A 20-year-old man from Letchworth has been remanded in custody to appear before a crown court judge later this month, charged with robbing a man of his bag in Baldock.
Connor O’Brien, of Swift Close, has been charged in connection with a robbery reported to have happened in Baldock’s High Street at 5pm on New Year’s Day.
He was arrested by officers from North Herts’ Operation Scorpion team on February 2, and charged on Wednesday last week.
He appeared before Hatfield magistrates on Thursday, and was remanded to prison. He is next set to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on March 30.
