A UNIVERSITY lecturer will be exploring the relationship between art and the internet as she sits on a plinth in the heart of the capital tomorrow.
Melissa Terras a senior lecturer in electronic communication at London's University College from Letchworth GC will be getting up on the empty plinth in Trafalgar Square as part of artist Anthony Gormley's One And Other project.
She said: "I'm going to talk a little bit about streaming media and what that means for art whilst creating and posting my own content live from the plinth. I specialise in the use of computing in the arts and heritage sectors, so it's really interesting to be taking part in this artwork."
Catch Melissa's Twitter posts from the plinth live between 1pm and 2pm @melissaterras #oneandother and her photos on Flickr.
